Liborio's Cuban Restaurant | New Orleans, LA | Harmon, Smith & Vourvoulias, LLCWhen clients visit our 400 Poydras Street office in New Orleans, many of them ask for a recommendation for lunch. I rack my brain for nearby places to send them, with so many great options available.

For lunch, I typically recommend a unique little restaurant less than two blocks away from our office door.

Liborio’s Cuban Restaurant, a quaint, lively spot at 321 Magazine Street, prides itself as “New Orleans’s longest operating restaurant.”

Founded in 1969, Liborio’s Cuban Restaurant offers an extensive menu of Cuban comfort food. We recommend local favorites such as:

  • The Cuban Sandwich
  • Seafood Paella
  • Ropa Vieja (pictured)

Stop by Liborio’s for lunch between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. In the evening, the restaurant’s dinner hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The atmosphere at Liborio’s Cuban Restaurant is colorful, festive, and inviting, perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. The service is always great, and the Cuban cuisine is some of the best in New Orleans.

From all of us at Harmon, Smith & Vourvoulias, LLC, we hope you’ll take our advice and swing by Liborio’s Cuban Restaurant for a meal you’ll truly enjoy. Supporting local restaurants helps the local economy, so try a unique dining experience instead of heading into a boring chain restaurant.

Also, if you’re making the journey to Magazine Street specifically for a meal at Liborio’s, be sure to stop by our Poydras Street office and tell us about your experience!
